About Provisions Waxhaw

Provisions Waxhaw, originally established in 2016, is a successful family owned retail shop and restaurant situated on Waxhaw's historic Main Street. Kat and Jamie Richardson purchased this establishment in January of 2022 and aim to continue the tradition of bringing local producers and consumers together in one convenient location.

 

Kat, born and raised in St. Louis, MO, has served in the food industry for over 29 years. Jamie, a native to NC, has been in the retail business for 27+ years and most recently a Licensed Massage Therapist. Along with them are their twin sons, Brentwood and Clayton, who have been serving the Waxhaw community over the last 11 years while working towards and earning their Eagle Rank in Scouting.

Provisions Waxhaw's kitchen offers fresh breakfast and lunch cooked to order 7 days a week. Additionally, we sell personal care items, candies, fresh dairy and eggs, quality spices, local gifts, and many other unique items that are made or grown by over 75 local farmers and producers.

 

We have a back room market featuring vintage and antiques, Waxhaw t-shirts and seasonal gifts! Last but surely not least is Sospeso Coffee Roasters - our own in-house espresso bar featuring year round and seasonal drinks.
